ABOUT Dr. Sangeetha Kolluri
Exceptional breast care through education and advocacy
After receiving her Medical Doctorate at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kolluri completed her Residency in General Surgery in Flushing Hospital Medical Center and completed Fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is certified by the American Society of Breast Surgeons for the performance of breast ultrasound.
She is also an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Society of Breast Surgeons and Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (FACOS).
Her philosophy of breast care is grounded in the principles of evidence-based treatment with a human-centered approach. Her approach to breast cancer includes a careful consideration of breast sensation preservation, breast sexuality, cosmesis and survivorship challenges.
Dr. Kolluri deeply invests her time and expertise in each of her patients and ensures that they receive a comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment plan that is tailored to their needs.
Dr. Kolluri accepts female and male patients, age 12 and above.
She was born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey and relocated to Texas in 2015. She lives happily with her husband, two daughters and their dog, Brooklyn. She loves craft beer and wine tasting, traveling and taking Brooklyn to the dog park.

BriAnna Peterson, LVN
Breast Surgical Nurse
BriAnna was born and raised in east Texas and moved to Austin in 2009. She worked as a medical assistant in pediatrics for nearly ten years. She graduated from the Austin Community College LVN program in August of 2021 and began working with Dr. Kolluri shortly after. BriAnna is passionate about providing exceptional care to all patients and appreciates the opportunity to care for them throughout their journeys. She strives to make patients feel confident in the care they are receiving. Outside of work BriAnna enjoys spending time with her two boys exploring hiking trails and playing soccer. She also enjoys a quiet evening with a good book and a cup of coffee.
Sheela Jimenez, MA
Breast Surgical Coordinator
Sheela was raised in North Carolina and moved to Texas in 2018 and Austin in 2019. She received her bachelor’s in psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2018. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she proceeded to work with children with disabilities for a year and a half before deciding to change her career. She decided to pursue medicine. She went to Texas State University to earn the courses required to apply to medical school and finished earning those credits in the Fall of 2021. She began to work with Dr. Sangeetha Kolluri as her scribe-surgery scheduler in February 2022. Outside of the office, she loves to hang out with her dog, Arya, by going on a hike or to the river. She also loves to read and cook for her hobbies.
